Marston's needed a fresh look for their self‑employed pub partner recruitment site.
Marston's existing self-employed partner website - Run A Marston's Pub needed bringing up to date with their latest branding and information.
CST were tasked to take a legacy WordPress website, bring it up to the latest version and create a new responsive design theme.
Working with Marston's chosen design agency, early collaboration was key to ensure the final designs were both visually impressive and cater for an ever-increasing number of visitors viewing content on mobile devices.
To keep the website easy to update, CST created page templates that used re-usable content blocks to allow flexibility whilst maintaining the brand's visual identity.
The website also integrates with a third-party vacancy & applicant tracking system to show the latest business opportunities and seamlessly transfer potential pub operators into the application process.
The Result
Since re-launching, the site has seen mobile device traffic rise from 65% to nearly 80% confirming our choice to build a mobile-first experience for prospective pub partners. User engagement on the site has also seen a significant increase.
